Carry my heart
demande d'information
Description
Carry My Heart speaks of addiction to images, sugar, and immediacy. Coca-Cola cans piled up like empty temptations, locked inside a basket that becomes a symbol of a love confused with the act of buying. Fred Allard sculpts here the unquenchable thirst of our societies, where the heart beats to the rhythm of logos and sugary impulses.
In his Basket Bag collection, Fred draws from one of the most iconic moments in contemporary fashion: Karl Lagerfeld’s 2014 Supermarket runway. He reinterprets the cult object—the supermarket basket—gilded and adorned with a chain to create a pop sculpture, blending luxury and irony. The Basket Bag is the art of making the ordinary iconic. A must-have.
