Vide ton Sac is an intimate experience, a creative ritual imagined by Fred Allard.
Through this approach, Fred invites each person to tell their story differently, not through words, but through objects. These fragments of life, often seemingly ordinary, become the raw material of a unique portrait. Each work tells a personal story, freezes a moment, and reveals a part of oneself.
Fred Allard conceives this experience as a sincere mirror of our time. In a world saturated with images and words, he restores meaning to what we keep, to what we choose to preserve. What we own speaks of us, our emotions, our desires, our contradictions. Vide ton Sac transforms this invisible part of ourselves into a tangible, authentic, lasting work of art.

THE INTENTION
It all begins with a meeting. A conversation, attentive listening, an exchange about what defines you.
Fred Allard asks a simple question: “If you had to tell your story through a few objects, which ones would you choose?”. This reflection becomes the starting point of a process that is both artistic and introspective.
The artist observes, captures, understands. Each selected object, a piece of jewelry, a photograph, a perfume, a ticket, a medal, becomes a symbol of what you live and what you carry within you.
Fred Allard does not interpret; he composes, he reveals. His role is to guide and crystallize what holds meaning, transforming the personal into the universal.

THE PROCESS
The objects entrusted by each participant are first arranged, studied, and balanced.
Fred assembles them according to an intuitive logic, somewhere between order and chance, before embedding them in resin. The gesture is precise, controlled, yet always guided by emotion.
Each inclusion becomes a suspended moment, an alchemy of material and memory.
The artist plays with transparency, light, and density. What was intimate becomes art; what was ordinary becomes symbolic.
The act of freezing becomes an act of truth.

A distilled composition of emotions, objects, and memories, at once deeply personal and universally resonant. The Vide ton Sac concept reveals what words cannot: the traces of lived moments, connections, passions, and losses.
Each sculpture is unique, standing at the crossroads of reality and memory. Fred Allard signs these works the way one seals a story. They carry within them the fragility of time and the strength of the moment. They are sensitive testimonies of who we are, contemporary relics that are both powerful and delicate.
Vide ton Sac is not a concept, it is a human experience. A way to confront oneself, to transform memory into matter, and matter into emotion.
But this experience is reserved for a select few. Each year, Fred Allard accepts to create only a very limited number of Vide ton Sac pieces. Each work is the result of a meeting, a dialogue, a suspended moment.
