Charles Leclerc, an intimacy unveiled by art
Share

At the heart of the South of France, Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc reveals another side of himself through Fred Allard’s “Vide Ton Sac” project.
Accustomed to expressing himself through speed and performance, here he opens the door to his intimate world, made of memories, challenges, and strong family bonds.
Among the chosen objects, a pen belonging to his father, used to sign his first contract with Ferrari, symbolizes both a family legacy and the beginning of an extraordinary destiny. His mother’s scissors, a nod to her work as a hairdresser, pay tribute to her constant support and presence, while a cross sewn by his grandmother into his racing suit before each race embodies the protection and tradition that accompany him on every circuit.
Adding lighter, more personal touches are the Pago peach drink of his childhood, shared with his brothers, and the Schokobons he still enjoys today, reminders of the man behind the champion. Carefully arranged miniatures of his racing teams retrace the milestones of his career, from resounding victories to lessons learned on tracks across the globe.
A SCULPTURE THAT REVEALS THE MAN
Under Fred Allard’s hands, these objects are transformed into a modern, vibrant sculpture, each piece limited to just ten creations per year.
Charles is involved at every stage of the design, giving the work a profoundly personal dimension.
More than a simple object of art, it tells the story of a life, a family, a journey, and offers a human perspective on a motorsport icon. Exhibited at Fred Allard’s gallery in Nice before joining their owners, these sculptures embody the rare meeting of art and performance, and reveal the sensitivity of a driver deeply connected to his roots.
